March 10, 2001 - Spring Rigging Clinic
Fleet 100 met on Saturday, March
10, 2001, for our first Spring Rigging Clinic at Scott & Brown's Radiator
Service in Washington, North Carolina. About 15 of us showed up to
talk about Catamaran Sailing and plans for the upcomming season.
We shared discussion about what repairs were needed for our boats and the
best techniques for those repairs. There was much discussion of rudder
cams, comp tips, class legal tramps and mast raising. We also talked alot
about the Fleet 100 events
that we have planned, including the Neuse River Day Sail and camping at
Camp Hatteras and Whichard's Beach.
Thanks to Scott Rose and family for providing lunch. The Mexican
Bean Dip was excellent
